I’m commenting on a great debate at the moment – ‘Making it up as you go along – is there any other way’. The central premise is that if a business waits for THE PLAN to be formulated it will die. Better to go with A PLAN, think on your feet and make it up from there. Of course a business needs a culture that allows this approach and the people who can create change to flourish. Creating this change is hard work but in today’s world could well mean the difference between sustainable success and rapid failure.
