To coincide with the peak season for automotive battery sales Purple Frog has created a new UK trade incentive scheme for Yuasa, the world’s leading battery manufacturer.

The project objective is to generate increased loyalty and sales of Yuasa products with installers and retailers, and to encourage Yuasa’s national distributor network to promote Yuasa over competitor products.

‘Let’s Play Yuasa Power Points’ is a points accumulative scheme in the style of a game show with a highly visible game show host and over the top styling, showbiz glitz and colour. Each product carries a Power Points value when sold by the retailer/installer, and the more Power Points that are earned enables a greater value of gift to choose from – from M&S vouchers and Yuasa merchandise to ipods and Nintendo Wii games consoles.

The main focus of the scheme is the website www.yuasapowerpoints.co.uk, where participating retailers can login and check their current Power Points totals and browse and choose their preferred gifts up to the value of their total. This is supported by distributor and retailer/installer communications, including digital CRM triggers, trade press advertising, welcome packs, leaflets, wallcharts, mouse mats and coasters.

Let’s Play Yuasa Power Points launched to distributors 9th October, and within days the scheme is already generating greater than expected responses for registration.
