We get a lot of questions from charities about how much value good event marketing can add.

The answer is easy. If the event is well thought through and if the marketing, regardless of how small the budget, is well targeted and created, the benefits can be substantial.

Hype, speculation, excitement… the wait is almost over for the start of the 2010 British Touring Car Championship with the first of this 10-race action-fest kicking off at Thruxton on 4th April. This year we have a special interest in arguably the most exciting form of motorsport, with the sponsorship of Honda Racing’s two cars by Yuasa.

Our day at the Oxprentice event on the 18th November see earlier blog was a great success as along with me and Steve Cook from Purple Frog we also had 3 members of the G&D team Marcus, Tom and Juri and Irene Donaldson from Nestle as mentors and judges for the day. We had 5 teams all researching and preparing flavours and putting together marketing plans which we were able to advise them on during the day.
